I prefer a bit harsh and overcrowded private or a little complicated (although I did not complain when the site for a romantic picnic or a pit of fire) I looking for something in two hours south of Denver, far enough in the mountains, the cool night is, but close enough, we can establish a camp in the Friday night. We also have a relatively large area because it is at least two (maybe three) are stored.

You have many options. Affordable? What is free? USDA National Forests provide what is called the spread of the campsite. This is a developed camping tents outside and stands in Colorado.
In the vicinity of Denver, Pike National Forest is one of our favorites. Take advantage of the Hampden (U.S. 285) in the mountains about 50 miles from Denver. At the top of Kenosha Pass, a U.S. Forest Service campground, costs about $ 15 per night. A few miles away lies the town of Jefferson.
Turn left (east) on Jefferson, (there is only one block east of the city) and go 8 miles. The trail begins near a stream wind, and turn left when the sign says Lost Park Road. Once you cross the cattle guard in steel 1 / 2 mile from the road into the forest. The first street you come to the right is very important to many campsites. If you stay on the main road, there are many open spaces with a beautiful view. Your tent and have a good time.
Here is a map for this area ...

It's called camping or primitive camping and dispersed to countries such as the national public national forests are found ...
They have all their own water and toilet paper and it will not be provided by a website .. These services are made available (perhaps) a toilet ...
It is widely distributed wild children, not with RV-TV screaming in the night, he generates, he does not Drunker thought the whole night .. Primitive is the best ... Take a remote forest road to go down and the places where people camped provide ...
Please use the sites that others have already been used ... Fire rings may be a signal for the location .. not a new camp! ...
